Electric Plus, Inc. started with 3 employees in 2006 with a focus on doing high quality electrical work at competitive prices. We have grown to over 300 employees, with offices in Danville (Indianapolis), Kokomo, Bloomington & Lafayette serving the entire state of Indiana and neighboring localities. The growth is directly attributed to a great staff of employees who are dedicated to our customers and ensuring that their projects are smooth, safe and in budget. Our management and office staff is a great group that understands the critical nature of electrical work, and support our field personnel to the greatest degree. Understanding that our top level electricians are on-site performing all sorts of electrical work and need the support to perform their work at the highest level. Electric Plus requires the highest safety standards on each of our work sites. We have become a CCS Certified Partner and IOSHA partner to work to alleviate all injuries from the company. Zero injuries is our goal!! Employees are our biggest investment and we constantly provide safety training to employees from everyday occurrences to specialized safety circumstances. We are ISNET certified, as well as various other safety organizations.
PresidentFor the past two decades, Tim has worked in the Indianapolis electrical construction market. Upon graduating from Purdue with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management, Tim worked for a large electrical contracting firm for 14 years, then helped start up a local branch of another contractor in 2004. In 2006, Tim decided it was time to start a new electrical contracting company, focusing on top craftsmanship, ideals in the marketplace and hire top notch employees who embody his goals.317-718-0100 x801Vice PresidentShane started at Electric Plus from day 1. He has helped grow the company and lead the field employees to a unique understanding that Electric Plus is built by the electricians we hire. Shane works directly with the workforce in new innovations in the field and has project managed many projects as well. Shane is an accomplished Journeyman electrician, “topping out” in 2003. Shane has run many large projects at previous employers and has a wide background in different markets.317-718-0100 x803Vice President KokomoAustin joined Electric Plus in 2007 after working in the Indianapolis and Kokomo markets. Austin graduated from Purdue in 2001 from Building Construction Technology, and has been working in the electrical field since. Austin brings with him a vast experience in the temperature control markets. He has done work with several of the major temperature control companies, in many types of facilities. Austin began working in a heavy grain processing plant and has a great deal of knowledge in the industrial field. Austin also manages many of our large projects as well as estimating various sizes and types of electrical projects. Austin_Schultz317-718-0100 x802Vice PresidentDavid began working for Electric Plus in 2008, coming from a large outdoor advertising company where he served as a local and regional operations manager. David also worked a number of years for a local electric utility and brings high voltage knowledge to the company. His experience in electrical utility distribution, operations management, facilities management and safety along with his Purdue Construction Management degree aids in the development of procedures and new ideas into Electric Plus. David is focused on “Green” energy and is helping Electric Plus pursue interests in many different and evolving technologies in the electrical field. David is also heavily involved in estimating and project management.317-718-0100 x806Service ManagerBrian was added to the Electric Plus family in January of 2012. Brian heads up our Service Department as well as small contract jobs. He started his career in the electrical industry in 1989 and has 26 years of experience in the electrical service industry. Brian leads a team of technicians that are trained and certified to work on power, data, temperature control, high voltage, and everything in between.317-718-0100 x808Asst. Service ManagerPat has been in the electrical industry since 2000. He completed the IBEW 5 year apprenticeship in 2005 graduating from the Electrical Training Institute.. Pat joined the Electric Plus team in 2014 as a Service Technician and took the position of Assistant Service Manager in late 2015. He has a diverse career in the electrical industry working in the residential, commercial, and industrial side.317-718-0100 x822Project ManagerMatt has been in the electrical industry since 1990. He completed the IBEW 5 year apprenticeship program in 1997. Since then I have been fortunate enough to have had a diverse career throughout the years spending several years at the Eli Lilly campus, completed multiple school projects, steel mills, large lighting retro fits including the entire Indiana Government Center campus. The last 5 years Matt has been in the office as an estimator/project manager. In that time he was instrumental in getting our Bloomington Office established and managed several large projects in that area including the recently completed IU Baseball and Softball stadiums.317-718-0100 x813Business DevelopmentKevin joined the Electric Plus team in 2016. As Director of Business Development, Kevin is responsible for defining goals and executing the plan for continued growth of the company through key customer relationships. Kevin has over 25 years of experience in the electrical construction industry and is proud to call himself an electrician by trade. He has an in-depth knowledge of the industry as well as strong business acumen. He is a graduate of the Electric Training Institute and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Studies from the National Labor College. Kevin and his wife Elizabeth live in the Broad Ripple area with their son, Cooper. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys family-time, sports and doing what he can to help others. He is a devoted Christian, and the Electric Plus values and culture are a perfect fit for his personality. He is excited to be part of the team!317-718-0100 x823Safety DirectorPat began working for Electric Plus in 2011. He graduated from the IEJATC program in 1998 and is an Inside Journeyman Wireman. Prior to working for Electric Plus, Pat worked for other contractors as a Field Electrician, Foreman, Estimator, Safety Director and Project Manager. He has strong knowledge and experience with health care facilities, water treatment and waste water treatment facilities and DAS (Distribution Antenna Systems). Pat’s current duties at Electric Plus are Safety Director, Project Management and Estimating. Pat enjoys projects that he can work closely with the customer to design unique solutions for the customer’s specific needs.317-718-0100 x807Project ManagerZach started working for Electric Plus in 2013. In 2012, Zach graduated with a Purdue degree in Construction Engineering Management Technology. Being fresh out of school, he has a great understanding with the latest technology. Zach has been in the electrical industry since 2011 and has learned a lot in a short amount of time. His focuses are estimating and project management. Zach has managed several projects, big and small, and delivers on time and in budget projects to the customer.317-718-0100 x812Project Manager KokomoDonna is a Project Manager for our Temperature Control installations. She is the first female to become a journeyman wireman out of Local 873. She topped out in January 1985. She has installed projects for Johnson Control, Siemens, ConServ, & Honeywell, to name a few. Her field experience is helping with job layout and installation practices to assist the workers in the field. Installing temperature control is her passion, except for baking cookies.317-718-0100 x815Project ManagerChris joined the Electric Plus team in November 2015. He completed the IBEW Apprenticeship program in 2009 and is completing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology in 2015. Chris has over 11 years of electrical experience and safety is his primary focus. Prior to his role at Electric Plus, Chris worked as a foreman in large health care facilities leading fire alarm, motor controls, medical imaging systems and various other projects.317-718-0100 x819Office/Project Services BloomingtonJulie became part of the Electric Plus team in 2013 and works out of the Bloomington Branch. In 1996 she became a journeyman wireman out of Local 725 and also received her Master Electrician License that same year. Before coming to Electric Plus Greg was part of his families electrical contracting company for the last 33 years. He has 20 years working experience in the electrical field performing about every aspect of the trade from onsite job installation, estimating, to project management. After completing the IBEW 5 year apprenticeship program he has continued his training by obtaining EPRI Instrumentation and Green Technician certifications, passed the Master Electrician exam and earned a B.S. from Purdue in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. After over a decade in “the field” he is now working in our estimating department. In his spare time he is a part-time instructor at the Electrical Training Institute, educating new electricians with the skills they need to become great craftspeople.317-718-0100 x851Construction Services ManagerScott has been working for Electric Plus since the first day it started. He has been very fortunate to have worked for 25 years in the electrical field and a graduate of the IJEATC program. He has been involved with many different types of projects in all aspects of industrial and commercial work. Over the last 10 years he has also been specializing in security automation work. Scott has his BICSI certification to work on telecommunication systems. Since 2015 Scott has taken on the position of working on virtual construction and heading up our BIM and pre-fab department.317-718-0100 x816PayrollBonnita joined our payroll department in the summer of 2012. She is an integral part of Electric Plus and enjoys the day to day challenges that are thrown her way. Bonnita loves spending time with her husband Tim and their three children, Drake, Hadley & Chloe. She started in Accounts Payable and now assists with payroll and other administrative duties. Angela and her husband Shane have three children and live in Mooresville, Indiana. She started in the accounts receivable area but transitioned into the Controller’s position in March, 2015. She is responsible for the accounting and financial aspects of the company and provides support in other areas as well. Butch has been a resident of Hadley for 42 years. She will be graduating from Indiana State University with her degree in Accounting. He has over 20 years of experience in the electrical field specializing in process automation, machine safety and industrial facility installations. Jerrod graduated with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, completed a 5-year apprenticeship from the IEJATC, received a project management certificate from IUPUI and holds a Master Electrical License with the City of Indianapolis. His +20 year career as a Project Manager/ Engineer has involved many successful fast paced complex industrial projects throughout the Midwest in food and grain processing, automotive manufacturing, industrial refrigeration and pharmaceutical. Jerrod brings to every customer a high level of integrity and professionalism approaching every project with a unique perspective to complete them successfully.317-718-0100Industrial Project ManagerJeff has been a part of the Electric Plus Team since 2013. He has been a Project Manager for 17 years, and an IBEW journeyman for 30 years. Jeff has specialized in industrial process automation and controls. He is a 1992 graduate of the IEJATC electrical apprenticeship program. Jeff has managed multiple fast past multi million dollar projects in the food process, automotive manufacturing and health care industry. Jeff Values each and every customer and their needs. With his extensive experience in the electrical and process field he is able address the customers wide array of projects. Her past work experience includes working in various operational, managerial and customer service positions. Terri is a graduate of the IU Kelley School of Business. After raising their son and daughter in Danville, she and her husband, Scott, moved to the Bloomington area.
