Excellence
We believe that a strong safety culture deserves to be celebrated. Over the years, our commitment to protecting our team has earned us industry recognition, including the prestigious CCS Excellence in Safety Award. The CCS Excellence in Safety Award, also known as the Crystal Eagle, is the highest honor from the Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS), recognizing construction companies with outstanding safety performance through robust programs, strong safety culture, and continuous improvement, with winners announced at their annual awards celebration.
The EMR rating, or Experience Modification Rate, is a numerical factor used in workers’ compensation insurance that compares a company’s claims history to the industry average. A lower EMR rating indicates better safety performance and can lead to lower insurance premiums, while a higher rating suggests a higher risk of claims and potentially higher costs. It is calculated based on the company’s past claims and payroll data, and it plays a crucial role in determining insurance costs for businesses. At Electric Plus, we are proud to have an EMR of 0.53, which is significantly lower than the industry average. This outstanding score reflects our unwavering commitment to safety and the proactive measures we take every day to protect our team. A low EMR not only demonstrates our dedication to maintaining a safe work environment but also reinforces the trust our clients place in us to deliver projects responsibly and efficiently.
