Verizon Wireless Plainfield

Electric Plus provided the full temperaturecontrol system installation for the Verizon Wireless Plainfield facility, supporting a mission-critical environment where reliability, monitoring, and system responsiveness are essential to operations. This project included all standard HVAC control integrations – air conditioning and heating controls, as well as hot water and chilled water control systems – designed to maintain consistent environmental performance across sensitive IT, communications, and mechanical spaces.

In addition to the core temperaturecontrol systems, Electric Plus installed power monitoring controls, giving Verizon enhanced visibility into energy usage, load behavior, and equipment performance. This monitoring capability supports preventative maintenance, operational efficiency, and rapid diagnostics during peak-demand conditions.

The project also included generator control integration, enabling automatic response, coordinated startup, and seamless transitions during power disturbances or outages. These systems ensure that Verizon’s facility maintains uptime, protects critical equipment, and supports continuous network reliability.

With this integrated controls package, Electric Plus delivered a stable, smart, and resilient environmental management system that directly supports Verizon’s high-performance operational standards.
